The flowers have opened more today and the fifth stalk is growing fast.

The flowers continue to open, and another view of the fifth stalk.

Look at the flowers now, just one day later!


February 22
The flowers are now wide open.  Look at the reflections of all
the flowers in the glass behind the close up of amaryllis blossom.

    


February 25
An overview: The flowers on the first two stalks have all wilted
away; the flowers on the third and fourth stalks are in full bloom
and you can see the fifth stalk coming up on the right.


March 1
Four days later you can see that the flowers on the third and fourth
stalks are starting to wilt.  The fifth stalk is almost full height.


March 4
The flowers on the fifth stalk are now beginning to open.
These two photos were taken about four hours apart and you
can see how much the flowers opened in that amount of time.

The new blossoms have opened more and
the old blossoms have been trimmed off.

Two of the new blossoms are now open.
The other two are just beginning to show.
